Quality Policy

Based on the Ministry of Health's keenness to provide health-promoting preventive public health services and to continue developing them in accordance with the best practices and standards, the Ministry is committed to excellence and quality in all its operations and services.

In line with the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, the Government Program, the National Health Plan, and the Sustainable Development Goals, the Ministry of Health dedicates its efforts to achieving the following:

  • Raising the quality level of health services provided in accordance with national and international standards.
  • Achieving the satisfaction of patients and beneficiaries by providing safe and effective healthcare.
  • Enhancing patient safety through the implementation of effective risk management systems.
  • Developing health cadres through continuous training and building a culture of quality and performance excellence.
  • Improving institutional and individual performance.
  • Supporting innovation and digital transformation in health services to ensure easy access to services.
  • Enhancing transparency and accountability in service delivery and ensuring sustainability in performance.

The Ministry of Health is committed to implementing the requirements of the quality management system and meeting customer requirements as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and to the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the quality management system to ensure the achievement of its strategic goals.

Accordingly, the senior management is responsible for maintaining the quality management system and taking the necessary measures to ensure continuous development.
